The PP corrugated body is fully waterproof. The Velcro closure provides a reasonable seal against dust and light moisture. For full IP-rated sealing, we recommend adding a foam gasket strip around the lid perimeter — available as a custom option.

We offer three Velcro integration methods: (1) Self-adhesive Velcro strips bonded to the PP surface — suitable for lighter applications and lower cycle counts. (2) Heat-sealed Velcro — bonded more permanently using heat fusion for high-cycle industrial applications. (3) Sewn-through Velcro with reinforcement tape — the most durable option, rated for 10,000+ cycles, used in demanding logistics applications.
The Velcro closure itself is not tamper-evident. For applications requiring tamper evidence, we recommend adding a secondary clip or zip-tie attachment point alongside the Velcro closure, or using a separate security seal slot in the box lid. Full tamper-evident solutions are available on request.
Load capacity depends on the box dimensions and PP board thickness. A standard 400×300×150mm box in 4mm PP can hold 10-15kg. For heavy loads, we recommend 5mm or 6mm board with aluminum corner reinforcement. Provide us with your required dimensions and load and we will specify the appropriate construction.
Yes — custom foam inserts (PE, EVA or polyurethane foam) profiled to hold specific products can be added inside the Velcro closure box. PP corrugated divider partitions can also be added to create multiple compartments. Combination of foam base + PP dividers is common for electronics and instrument packaging.
The PP box body can be wiped down or pressure-washed. For Velcro maintenance, use a soft brush or lint roller to remove debris from the hook side — accumulated debris reduces closure strength over time. Do not use solvents on Velcro as this degrades the adhesive bonding. Replace Velcro strips if closure strength falls below acceptable level — strips are available as a spare part.
